Harvest Pie

There is something so satisfying about baking a pie. Many of my 21 years spent in the kitchen were preparing pies. I’ve made peach, blackberry, blueberry, sweet potato, lemon, pumpkin, apple, cranberry-cherry and even a white potato! My old cookbooks are especially fun to get recipes for pies.

I’m probably forgetting a few but as you can see I’ve had a love affair with pie haha! It must have rubbed off because when my son was about 14 he made a mulberry pie with mulberries from off our tree. I love fall harvest foods the most when it comes to pie.
