I enjoy the earlier months of summer, besides it being cooler than late summer, but also because of the berries which are ready for harvest. Saturday we picked from our strawberry patch 3 pounds of strawberries! The blackberries are still flowering but my black raspberries (blackcaps) are loaded with little green berries waiting to ripen and the the one blueberry bush is loaded with berries just starting to look a little more blue than green.
